for this i only used my hands, a small loop tool, and a small double sided knife-ish thing i found in Detroit. and those are typically the only tools i use.

That's so amazing, I didn't even know you could make such a detailed skulpture with clay. You can even see the veins on the hand and the way the muscles flex. The face is also amazing, the expression speaks volumes.
I wish I could have seen how you did this masterpiece.

thanks! i think theres alot of people who can get alot more detailed than this with clay. generally movie biz sculptors. but for fine art, i don't think it's really necessary to use more than this.

That arm is gorgeous!
It's relaxed, yet I feel it's explosive strength.....coiled energy.
Very beautiful!....very classical as well. Evoking the masters.
